Luxor

Luxor is instantly recognisable: a 30-storey black glass pyramid fronted by a sphinx replica, with inward-facing rooms around a vast hollow atrium.

Luxor opened in 1993 during the family-focused era of Strip building, originally with an Egyptian adventure attraction inside the atrium. The theming has been reduced over the years, but the pyramid, sphinx and beam remain among the most photographed structures in Las Vegas.
