The Cosmopolitan is compact and vertical rather than sprawling, which makes it a quick but distinctive stop. The Cosmopolitan opened in 2010 after a difficult construction period, and deliberately targeted a younger design-conscious traveller with art programming and independent restaurants rather than a single theme.

A bar structure spread over three levels inside a curtain of hanging crystal beads, with a different atmosphere on each floor. Walking through and up the stairs to look costs nothing; ordering a drink is the paid part.
Rotating digital art installations
Large digital columns and screens through the lobby and public corridors run changing artist-commissioned work rather than advertising. They are in circulation space and free to see, and the programme changes over time.
Terrace suites and pool decks (guests only)
The wraparound balconies with Bellagio fountain views are a defining feature of the property, but they belong to specific guest room types. Not every room has one, and the pool decks are also guest areas — treat these as part of a stay rather than a free sight.
